The Other Side of the Revolution

Andrew Saylor, a member of the von Wreden's Feldjäger reenacting group, will be presenting about the Hessian soldiers who took part in the American Revolution. He will be showcasing uniforms, equipment, and weaponry that were used by the Germans who fought for the British crown. Attendees will learn about what they did during the war, why they came to fight, and what they did afterwards - both those who left and those who stayed behind. Come hear about these oft-forgotten participants and how they impacted the cause of American Freedom.
